On 6 December 2018 The meeting of the Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations adopted the recommendations, based on the Committee hearings on the topic “Improvement of the state policy in the area of imposing sanctions on the individuals involved in illegal politically motivated persecution of the Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories”.

The Mission had participated directly in drafting the recommendations, which were taken into account by the Committee.

The Head of the Department of International Connections of the Mission Yevgeny Samukha present at the meeting expressed support for the initiative of the Committee to hold the Parliamentary hearings on the topic “Ensuring the enjoyment of the IDPs rights in Ukraine” in April 2019.
