Today, on 8 July 2019, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted the Luxemburg Declaration, the document contains “The Militarization by the Russian Federation of the Temporarily Occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol, Ukraine, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.”
OSCE PA’s document once again condemns the continuing illegal occupation and attempt of Crimea annexation by the Russian Federation and urges Russia to reverse them and withdraw Russian occupation forces from Crimea and to bring it back under the control of the Government of Ukraine.
The Resolution reiterates the participates States’ grave concern over the increasing militarization of the Crimean Peninsula and the Russian Federation’s intention to deploy nuclear weapons in that area, and the increasing militarization of the Sea of Azov, the Kerch Straight and the Black Sea.
