On September 14 2018, the Head of the Department of International Connections Yevhen Samuha participated in the conference “NATO: Prospects for Ukraine” where Iryna Friz, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the Head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly reported on the theme: “Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine. Current Issues of Cooperation and the Prospects of Membership”. And the further initiatives of the President of Ukraine on constitutional consolidation of Euro-Atlantic policy of our state was discussed as well.

The participants of the conference pointed the considerable need of a great deal to be done for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to achieve the standards of NATO. The positive sides of  NATO for political, security and economical dimensions, particularly in strengthening of international partnership protection against the permanent Russian aggression and for bringing de-occupation closer.
