“Sanctions are one of the most important mechanism when it comes to the achieving a certain goal. Thanks to the sanctions imposed by international partners – today the temporarily occupied Crimea is an absolutely toxic territory for any business, for any foreign investment, and we would not be able to achieve this in any way, unfortunately, except for the imposition of sanctions by our international partners”
The First Deputy Permanent Representative of the president of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Darya Svyrydova took part in a discussion of lawyers about the nature of sanctions and what Ukraine’s priorities should be in this regard.
The imposition of sanctions against MP Taras Kozak and eight of his companies, including the founders of 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NewsOne, and numerous disputes on the legal assessment of the decision were discussed.
