On 23 February, a working meeting took place at the Mission between Permanent Representative Olha Kuryshko and a delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
The delegation included MPs Markus Wiechel and Jimmie Åkesson (Sweden), Eerik-Niiles Kross (Estonia), Emanuelis Zingeris (Lithuania), Miapetra Kumpula-Natri (Finland), Beatrice Fresco-Rolfo and Christophe Brico (Monaco), Ionuț Moșteanu (Romania), and Elisabetta Gardini (Italy).
The meeting was also attended by Members of the Parliament of Ukraine, including Mariia Mezentseva-Fedorenko, Vice-President of PACE and Chairperson of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to PACE; Serhii Soboliev, First Deputy Chairperson of the Permanent Delegation to PACE; and Olena Khomenko, Chairperson of the PACE Network for the Situation of Children of Ukraine.

The Permanent Representative expressed gratitude to the members of the delegation for their visit and support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, particularly for the adoption of key resolutions directly related to Crimea. For example, on 27 January, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted the resolution “Supporting Commitment to a Comprehensive, Just and Lasting Peace for Ukraine and the Security of the European Continent”. In the document, PACE condemns the indoctrination, militarisation, and Russification of Ukrainian children in the occupied territories, including Crimea.
Olha Kuryshko also spoke about the activities of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea / Crimea Platform Office, the summits of the International Crimea Platform, and the problems of temporarily occupied Crimea. Separately, the Permanent Representative emphasised the issue of human rights violations on the peninsula, problems of forced passportisation of Ukrainian citizens in Crimea, the deterioration of the environmental situation, control of the information space, and the deportation of children, as well as other problems caused by the Russian occupation of Crimea.
The Permanent Representative also noted that the Fifth Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform will take place in 2026 in London and called on the parliamentary delegations to participate in the summit.
