Today, the Permanent Representative participated in the National Prayer Breakfast organized by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The event aimed to bring together Ukrainian religious leaders, heads of international charitable foundations, war veterans, families of deceased heroes, chaplains, and representatives of the government and civil society in prayer for a just peace.

It was a significant event because, for more than 800 days, Ukraine has been resisting an enemy that not only aims to eliminate our state but also to erase the Ukrainian identity, a key part of which has always been spirituality and religion.

During the event, the Humanitarian Forum was held, which addressed issues such as the kidnapping of children, their illegal deportation to Russian territory, and their status.
of children, their illegal deportation to Russian territory, and their status.
“The life in occupation is hard and dangerous, so we must understand what and how we communicate. Importantly, we must continue to struggle for our children and their right to have an identity, family, and future in Ukraine. It is our common responsibility to provide every child with support and protection,” the Permanent Representative stated.
