Today, the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine hosted a meeting with Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva, Canadian Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc, and First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelial.

Firstly, the Permanent Representative expressed her profound gratitude to Canada for its unwavering and systematic support of our country in various spheres. In addition, Tamila Tasheva briefed Mr. Hussen on the current situation in occupied Crimea and drew special attention to the systematic violation of human rights. During the meeting, the Permanent Representative also emphasized the resistance of Ukrainian citizens living on the peninsula, who demonstrate their daily resistance to the occupiers in various forms.
Tamila Tasheva also emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine in its efforts to de-occupy and reintegrate all territories. The Permanent Representative noted that Ukraine is already developing reintegration solutions that should be effectively implemented in the liberated territories.
