Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva participated in the panel discussion titled “Regions as Drivers of Growth,” held as part of the forum Ukraine 2050: Dialogues About the Future.

The discussion also featured Yurii Fylyuk, CEO of Promprylad, co-founder of the Teple Misto platform, and initiator of Urban Space 100; Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration and Chair of the Chamber of Regions of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine; and Ihor Lisk, founder of the investment company EFI Group. The panel was moderated by Vitalii Sych, Editor-in-Chief of the NV project.
The Permanent Representative emphasized that conceding even the smallest part of Ukraine’s territory would create a snowball effect, undermining the principle of territorial integrity and encouraging other totalitarian regimes worldwide to pursue territorial expansion. Tamila Tasheva also shared Ukraine’s vision for the restoration of Crimea after de-occupation, particularly in the economic sphere, highlighting the development of the Crimea Recovery Strategy.
“When we talk about Crimea, we are referring not only to conceptual aspirations but also to concrete steps toward its future. Ukraine envisions only one scenario—the liberation of Crimea. Our strategy encompasses not only military and politico-diplomatic measures but also an economic recovery plan for the post-liberation period. It is crucial to remember: the peninsula must have a future,” stated Tamila Tasheva.
In conclusion, the Permanent Representative emphasized that despite persecution and repression, the residents of occupied Crimea continue to resist, maintaining their unity with Ukraine.
