The Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva took part in the event “Promotion Day in Public Service” organized by the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service.
Before Ms. Tamila’s speech, Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the NAUCS, noted that she personally and the entire organization finds cooperation with the Mission very productive and inspiring: “This is a very pleasant cooperation in the context of understanding and motivation of a person who believes in what he or she is doing. It is very inspiring to work and cooperate further, Ms. Tamila, thank you.”
Tamila Tasheva was a speaker at the discussion “How does the state and public institutions work? What is the role of public servants in the country’s recovery?” and spoke about the civil service from the inside.
“Although I am not a civil servant, I work in a government agency and I am surrounded by many young, proactive people. For some of them, civil service became their first job – and this is an important message that young people are also actively involved in government work,” the Permanent Representative said.
She also told the participants about the training of personnel for the restoration of Crimea after de-occupation, in particular, about the work together with the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the Ministry of Reintegration and other stakeholders on the resolution on the creation of a personnel reserve.
Tamila Tasheva emphasized that she has high hopes for Ukrainian youth who are ready to join the future reconstruction and reintegration of the Crimean peninsula – the Mission receives dozens or even hundreds of messages with various requests on how to join the recovery reserve.
She added that the specialists will need qualified training, as they will have to work in the de-occupied territory, so the Mission has developed two master’s programs together with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – “Post-Conflict Governance” and “Governance in the Post-War Territories” (https://cutt.ly/u6zJdCN).
We are sincerely grateful to the NAUCS and its Head Nataliia Aliushyna for organizing the event and promoting civil service among Ukrainian youth!
