In 2022, the owner of the ATLAS travel agency entered into a so-called “contract” with the illegally created Crimean Federal University named after Vernadsky. Under the terms of the “agreement,” the suspect’s company provided services for the transportation of minors from the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions to Crimea and back for two groups of 1064 people (1000 children and 64 accompanying persons).
For her “work”, the entrepreneur received more than 15 million rubles (almost UAH 7 million) from the Russian state budget. Her actions are qualified as collaboration (Part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The suspect faces up to five years in prison.
The Mission draws the attention of the international community to another war crime of the occupiers and their accomplices. We will continue to work actively to restore justice for our citizens.
