The program began with a musical performance by Emiliia Bodurova and sisters Oriiana and Mylada Lotsman and continued with panel discussions titled “Endangered: The Language of the Crimean Tatars” and “On the Road to Crimea: Literature as Connection and Roots.”

Guests of the stage could visit the fair of traditional and craft products and a master class by Rustem Skybin, a Crimean Tatar ceramist and Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, whose ceramic works vividly represent the living culture of the Crimean Tatars as one of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.

At other locations, as on other days, letters were written to political prisoners as part of the Letters to a Free Crimea initiative. There was also a photo exhibition with stories about military servicemen from Crimea who stood up to defend the Ukrainian state, the Stories from Occupied Crimea exhibition, and Crimean Tatar food.

After the panel discussions, an auction was held to raise money for the 112th Independent Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, hosted by Oleksandr “Kolmen” Serdiuk, which raised more than 34 thousand hryvnias!

The musical program ended with a performance by the Crimean Tatar-Ukrainian project from Lviv, Çayır.
We remind you that today the Crimean stage will feature musical performances by Ismail Kurt-Umer, Tania Sha and Shopping Hour GRP, Usein Bekirov’s Quintet, and a panel discussion titled “Crimea and Peace: Why the De-occupation of Crimea Has No Alternative,” as well as a master class on the national Crimean Tatar wrestling called “Kuresh.”
