2014 year, military Russia’s aggression in the East of the State and temporarily occupation of AE of Crimea have led to the development of new approaches in reforming and further activity of security sector of the country.

During the last five years that were the most important, complex and irrevocable, the SSU improved its professionalism and efficiency, significantly increased its ability to counter the treacherous threats of hybrid aggression of the RF against our country. And now it can share that unique experience with the countries – partners of Ukraine.

I am confident that the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine serve as the model of dignity and commitment to their people and they will continue honorably to carry out their duties in accordance with the principles of legality and justice, providing territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. And modern level of preparation, professionalism of the officials and the efficient activity of the SSU will guarantee that the events of 2014 will never happen again in the territory of our country.
