“Everyone, whose property was expropriated and taken in the temporarily occupied territory, is considered to be a victim of the armed conflict. Nowadays, Ukraine must create efficient procedures to restore property documents, develop legal norms of returning illegally seized property during the occupation to their owners. And the third, undoubtedly, record-keeping systems should be set up to account for what property is damaged, destroyed or unlawfully ruined”, the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Darya Svyrydova pointed out.
