The Representative Office performed monitoring of implementation of national and cultural rights of the citizens of Ukraine, focused on popularization of cultural and spiritual heritage of the Crimean people in the Ukrainian society, participation in the activities of the internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The state has adopted a series of laws and regulations to protect the citizens who moved from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Each city of Ukraine gives an opportunity to the internally displaced persons to feel themselves closer to home, to enrich their understanding with new knowledge and to raise awareness on history and culture of Crimea.
A variety of informational events focused on promoting the cultural heritage of the Crimean people: themed evenings, historical magazines, exhibitions, literary readings, virtual tour and more are held in the educational establishment in all the regions of Ukraine, without any exception.
Considering the peculiarities of children information perception, the general secondary schools, art and after-school educational establishments involve young people to participate in the exhibitions, film screenings, creative music festivals, drawing competition and exhibitions of arts and crafts. The children are systematically engaged in the themed lessons, educational classes, round-table meetings and discussions.
The corresponding programs with thematic priorities of upbringing national, patriotic, moral and spiritual values in youth and forming a positive attitude to the outside world in minds are developed by the governmental authorities and bodies of local self-government and are implemented in educational establishments to ensure a systematic approach to the educational process.
