In April, 24, at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Chief Consultant of the Departments of International Connections of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the ARC Valeriya Pakhomovа took part in work meeting about the preparation to the Second Interparliamentary Conference “Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Modern Security Challenges”.
The participants of the event were the Chairman and members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Verkhovna Rada, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Head of the Department of Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the Verkhovna Rada and members of the secretariat of the Committee. The participants discussed organizational issues of the Inter-Parliamentary Conference, aspects of the work of representatives of national parliaments in the format of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. Among other things, the preparations for the conference will cover and institutionalize the presence in the three countries of a common area of the territories temporarily occupied by Russia as an aggressor state.
