The Ukrainian National Bar Association announces the formation of a working group to develop proposals and a strategy for the restoration of the Bar in the de-occupied Crimean peninsula.

At the request of the Mission – in order to intensify the formation of a personnel reserve and to protect human and civil rights and freedoms on the Crimean peninsula after its de-occupation and during the reintegration processes – the Association intends to develop strategic proposals and recommendations on possible challenges, necessary steps and measures to restore the activities of the Bar in the de-occupied Crimean peninsula, including those that can be taken now before the regaining of control over the territory.

The Association calls on its members to send motivation letters and CVs by 18 August to [email protected]. The selection process will include a competition among applications – the working group will consist of 5 lawyers.
