Oleksii Tilnenko, the regional coordinator of the South Ukrainian office of the public organization “CrimeaSOS and Maria Tomak, the coordinator of Media Initiative for Human Rights participated in the meeting as well.
The meeting focused on the discussion of the human rights violations in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol as well as anticipated results of implementation of the Strategy on de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol, including challenges, encountered in the provision of assistance to the persons, who are subjected to pressure as a result of temporarily occupation..
Anton Korynevych presented the idea and plans of “Crimean platform”, the holding of the inaugural summit and its continued functioning on a permanent basis.
In addition, the Permanent Representative pointed out that the state did everything possible for exercising the rights and possibilities of IDPs from Crimea and citizens of Ukraine, residing in Crimea.
The Mission is thankful to USAID Ukraine for the support in protection of the rights and basic freedoms of the citizens of Ukraine, residing in Crimea, including those who have forcibly replaced to the territory of Ukraine and now they are residing in other regions of Ukraine.
