On behalf of all Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, thanked the summit participants for their steadfast stance on the non-recognition of Russia’s claims on Ukrainian territory.

Chubarov urged continued use of the Ukrainian Peace Formula to increase political and diplomatic pressure on dictator Putin and his supporters.

“We are not willing to pay any price for peace. We are not bargaining for our territories,” said Refat Chubarov. Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, who only returned to their homeland after 45 years of struggle, are more eager than anyone for peace and want to end Russia’s atrocities, killings, torture of civilians, kidnapping of children, and widespread destruction.

Refat Chubarov is convinced that only global unity, determination, and military force will compel the Russian aggressor to make peace, withdraw its troops from occupied Ukrainian territories, and strictly adhere to the principles of international law.
