Permanent Representative Tamila Tasheva held a work meeting with the Business Ombudsman of Ukraine, Roman Vashchuk. The meeting was also attended by Maria Tomak, Head of the Crimea Platform Support Service, and Inna Tsarkova, Chief Consultant of the Crimea Platform Support Service.

Tamila Tasheva focused on events aimed at the reintegration of Crimea, including those already conducted by the Mission and planned future activities. She highlighted the availability of a public authority gradual restoration plan for the occupied territories, the formation of a personnel reserve, and the prosecution of occupiers.
The Permanent Representative stated:
“We emphasize that people in Crimea should not fear prosecution after the restoration of Ukrainian authority. We are working on mechanisms that will prosecute those who have committed international crimes and treason, not the regular residents of the occupied territories.”
Attention was given to economic reintegration and the issues of business restoration in the temporarily occupied territories during the post-conflict period. Roman Vashchuk was also introduced to the “We Build Crimea” initiative and other plans related to post-war restoration.

During the meeting, the issue of scientific and educational programs abroad was discussed, with a focus on implementing Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar studies in various countries.
The parties agreed on further cooperation, including involving the Mission in the Business Ombudsman Council of Ukraine’s programs and strategies related to Crimea.
