The state guarantees a safe and free opportunity to enroll in Ukrainian institutions of higher education.
Every year, thousands of young people from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) choose Ukrainian education. However, those who remain in TOT may be unaware of the procedures for leaving the occupied areas and enrolling in institutions of higher education in Ukraine. Currently, simplified admission procedures are in place in Ukraine for applicants from the temporarily occupied territories.
For a young person who has left a temporarily occupied territory, the following support is provided when applying to a Ukrainian institution of higher education:
- anonymity, as well as guidance and assistance throughout the admission process;
- accommodation in a student dormitory during the admission period and studies;
- support in obtaining all necessary Ukrainian documents;
- a monthly scholarship (social or academic, provided the student meets academic requirements).
Admission to higher education institutions is carried out under simplified conditions:
- A certificate from the External Independent Testing (ZNO) or the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) is not required;
- if the applicant does not have a Ukrainian passport, a birth certificate is sufficient;
- submission of documents and entrance exams (in the form of an interview) can be completed online.
Important! If you have friends or acquaintances living in the temporarily occupied territories, please share with them information about the opportunity to apply to Ukrainian higher education institutions.
