Visitors will be able to get an opportunity to see the installation “Doquz” by Crimean Tatar ceramist Rustem Skybin, consisting of various household items of one of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine. The room’s walls will tell the photo history of the Crimean Tatars of the early nineteenth century.
A visual excursion into the Crimean context will also include works by Anton Logov, an artist, and author of paintings, objects, and installations, and paintings by Sadykh Adzhy-Selim created during the deportation.
In addition, important elements of the exhibition include an installation dedicated to the current Russo-Ukrainian War and portraits of military personnel of Crimean Tatar origin, which tell about their connection with their native land and ancestors who survived the deportation.
The history of the Crimean Tatar people is full of struggles and challenges, victories and tragedies, which we shout about in the language of art.
