On March 15, 2018 the Permanent Representative of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the chief consultant of the Mission met with the head and directors of the missions, representatives of agency US AID in Ukraine and officials of the Embassy of the USA.
Borys Babin informed the presents about the current activity of the Mission on increasing the efficiency of administrative services of certification for the citizens of Ukraine living in Crimea. Particularly it was discussed the activity on establishment and equipment of the Administrative Service Centers in the districts of Kherson region situated close to Crimea, the aspects of railway link to Vadim station and legal traffic interconnection between the checkpoints and settlements of Kherson region. The attention was paid on urgent needs in minimum equipment of check points “Kalanchak” and “Chongar”.
In the framework of meeting there was a discussion on the changes of legislation about free secondary legal assistance, simplification of marriage registration for the citizens of Ukraine living in the temporarily occupied territory, and the aspects of arrangements of presidential and parliamentary elections for the Crimean inhabitants in the mainland of Ukraine. At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed upon a framework of future cooperation and interaction.
