In July 25, 2018 the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Izet Gdanov together with the officials of the Department of the International Connections of the Mission met with the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksii Reznikov to discuss the issues of social protection for the IDPs from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the quality of the administrative services, provided for them.
Izet Gdanov presented the activity of the Mission on implementation of the monitoring of IDPs’ rights exercising in mainland Ukraine, mandated by the President of Ukraine as well as he emphasized the pressed issues on providing them with the financial support, access to a labor market, pre-school and secondary education, medical services etc.
In turn, Oleksii Reznikov expressed the willingness of Kyiv State authorities to facilitate the employment of the IDPs via the City Employment Centers, to find the premises for reconstruction to be done for the temporarily living and the involvement of public organizations of Crimean residents into the cultural of Kyiv. The Deputy Head of the Kyiv State Administration recommended the IDPs to be more initiative and address their problems to be decided by the capital authorities.
