On 21 November 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the Chief Consultant of the Department of International Connections of the Mission Valeria Pakhomova met with the Permanent Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine Jost Lungman.

During the meeting, the framework of drafting on economic development undertaken by the International Monetary Fund was discussed. Besides, Borys Babin briefed on current activity of the Mission, in particular on measures, aimed at discouraging of the state-aggressor’s attempt of the annexation of Crimea to be “recognized” by the foreign countries and international organizations. The parties discussed the Updated Draft Resolution on Human Rights in Crimea, approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations, particularly the appellation of the peninsula in the official international documents.
