According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the occupiers in Armyansk (in the north of the Crimean peninsula) are preparing to evacuate both representatives of the occupation administration and the local population.
Due to the enemy’s terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant and, as a result, the lack of water in the North Crimean Canal, production processes at the Crimean Titan plant in Armyansk have been disrupted to a critical level.
The occupiers consider it impossible to resume work in the minimum proper mode. Information about the possible shutdown of Crimean Titan is circulating on the territory of occupied Armyansk.
At the same time, the occupation army’s engineering units have been mining the plant’s workshops, which are still operating, and planting explosives on the plant and surrounding area for the past few days.
A terrorist attack at the Crimean Titan plant, which the Russian invaders are preparing for, would mean an artificial man-made disaster. About 200 tons of process ammonia are used in the refrigeration equipment of Crimean Titan.
❗️ In the event of an explosion at the plant, an ammonia cloud, depending on the wind direction, will cover the surrounding areas in half an hour. First of all, the occupied Armyansk, Krasnoperekopsk district and the southern districts of Kherson region will be under threat.
The Mission urges citizens to be cautious and careful and evacuate away from the plant if possible. Please familiarize yourself with the rules of conduct in case of industrial accidents involving the release of chemicals, in particular ammonia. We also remind you of our recommendation to stay as far away as possible from the permanent and mobile military facilities of the occupying country!
