On the 31st of January Boris Babin, the Permanent Representative of the Present of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea held the meeting with the members of Special Мonitoring Мission OSCE in Ukraine.
There were discussed a wide range of issues connected with the ensuring human rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the citizens of Ukraine who are living and moving from temporarily occupied territory; a mechanism for ensuring security and public order in the area of the administrative border and adjacent areas carried out by the structural units of the National Police; problems of passing control at checkpoints of entry-exit, in particular, they noted the advantages of the biometric control system, which greatly simplifies the crossing procedure.
During the meeting, Boris Babin acquainted the participants with the organization and the process of creating of the administrative services centers network in the adjacent to Autonomous Republic of Crimea areas, on the territory of the Kherson region, particularly, in the Genichensk and Chaplynka districts, towns of Kahovka and Kherson. They will provide a full range of services for the issuance of passport documents to Ukrainian citizens.
Also the Permanent Representative emphasized the delegation about the current activities of the mission; told about the provision of medical and humanitarian aid to political prisoners’ families , procedure of issuance documents help and primary legal assistance. A particular attention was paid to the problems of violation of the rights of citizens of Ukraine including members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.
Also during the meeting, issues of medical assistance, registration of civil status acts, military service, differences between the provision of medical assistance on the territory of Ukraine and the occupied Crimean peninsula territories were considered.

According to the results of the meeting, the parties reached agreement about further cooperation in solving problems arising from the illegal activity of the occupation authorities.
