On February 22, 2026, a rally dedicated to the fourth year since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine was held in Toronto’s central square (Canada).
The rally was attended by the Premier of Ontario, the Mayor of Toronto, members of the Canadian Parliament, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andrii Plakhotniuk, leaders of the Ukrainian community, and Crimean Tatar activists, including Ruslan Kurt, President of the Canadian Association of Crimean Tatars.
In his speech, Ruslan Kurt reminded the audience about Crimea, the Crimean Tatars, and 12 years of ongoing resistance to the Russian occupation of Crimea.
The event brought together hundreds of participants who came to show their solidarity with Ukraine, support its territorial integrity, and once again remind the international community of the Crimean people’s resistance to the Russian occupation.
