On March 14, 2018 the representative of the Department of Reintegration and Deoccupation of ARC of the Mission T. Pokydko participated in the Women’s forum devoted to the Volunteer’s Day held in the Art Salon of the Culture House in Henichesk.
Forum was initiated by the District State Administration and supported by Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People. Thus event identified an important role of women in struggle for peace in Ukraine, in restoration its territorial integrity and unitarily. The participants of the event were women – the members of local Mejlises of Crimean Tatars, of civil regional and local communities and a lot of others active and concerned women. The participants of the forum recollected those March days when the annexation of Crimean peninsula actually had occurred, when courageous and dedicated Ukrainians had left for the East to defend their native land.
The official of the Mission congratulated all the attendants and emphasized the importance of the event in joining of all good will people together and highlighted also the role of Crimea Tatar Women in resistance to the violent occupation of the peninsula.
