By the Law of Ukraine adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On procedure of departure from Ukraine and entry into Ukraine by citizens of Ukraine” is stated in a new edition and there is no rule on the possibility of extending expiration date of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad.
We draw the attention of the residents of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol that, in case of expiration of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad since October 01st, 2016, it is necessary to file documents for the new passport.
In order to obtain a new passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad in case of document’s expiration, residents of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol should contact any territorial unit of the State Migration Service of Ukraine and provide:
– application form;
– the present expired passport for travelling abroad;
– documents confirming the payments established by law (consular fee), or the original document and a copy of the document releasing from such payments (consular fee).
