On 27 November 2018, the Head of the Department of International Connections Yevhen Samukha attended the all-Ukrainian action “United”, launched in Kyiv to honor the Ukrainian heroes in the struggle of Ukrainian people for independence and territorial indivisibility of Ukraine. The action was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and Kyiv State Administration in cooperation with the civic organization “Ukrainian People’s Youth” in Veteran Hub. Veteran Hub is the first open space for the veterans ATO/OUF and civic human rights organizations to provide them with the social, psychological, juridical and educational support.
This project is devoted to the residents from the Southern regions of Ukraine, particularly from Crimea, Zaporizhya and Kherson regions who were defending our country in different periods against the army of Ukrainian People’s Republic, Ukrainian Insurgent Army and the modern Ukrainian-Russian war. These persons united to remind us that there are always people who fights for their country. Twenty short videos and posters about Ukrainian militaries, the participants of military operations were presented under the slogan “South and Crimea Smoke”.
