Today, the 18th day of August, the new Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was presented to the force and territorial authorities at the Regional State Administration.
Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Andrii Balon officially introduced Borys Babin to the audience, reading the President’s Decree on his appointment to this post.
“We gathered today to personally meet and determine for ourselves how we will contribute to the work and fulfilment of tasks by the newly appointed head. We, like nobody else, should contribute to the quality performance of the functions and tasks set by the President of Ukraine to Borys Volodymyrovych” – Andrii Balon said.
In his turn, Borys Babin stressed that yesterday, at the time of appointment, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, provided instructions, including identifying the work of the Permanent Representative Office, removing the negative social manifestations that took place recently in this field, and ensuring the rights of the Crimean Tatar people.
“I have the mandate to work fruitfully with law enforcement agencies, as well as, of course, with the hospitable authorities of Kherson region” – Borys Babin said. He thanked him for his trust and promised to make efforts to perform his tasks properly.
Summarizing, Andrii Balon expressed his hope for mutually fruitful cooperation and wished the newly appointed head for success at new post.
For reference, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No.220 / 2017 d.d the 17th day of August, 2017, Babin Borys Volodymyrovych has been appointed Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
