The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea congratulates the Simferopol Boxer Olexander Usik with the bright victory under the Flag of Ukraine on the boxing beat with the citizen of Russia Murat Gasiev. The boxing beat was held in Moscow, that did not prevent the Ukrainian boxer from Crimea to become a world middleweight champion in the World Boxing Super Series final  by the unanimous 10-round decision.

We are confident that Ukrainian Olexandr Usik was supported by the most of his compatriots in the temporarily occupied Crimea, he did not fail. President Petro Poroshenko congratulated the champion with a new title, and stressed that Ukrainian anthem sounded in Moscow all over the world became a symbol of our struggle making our victory closer. ”Way to go and win, Olexandr!
