On 12 July 2019 the Permanent Representative of President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych held a working meeting with the  Deputy Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Benjamin Moreau, the head of UN Human Rights Mission in Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions D. Kaniffe and the  human rights officer Vitaliy Hilko.

The meeting was focused on the framework of partnership and prospects for the development of cooperation between the Mission of the President of Ukraine in AR of Crimea and the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

The parties discussed the ongoing situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea including the violation of human rights and international humanitarian law by the occupying authorities and agreed to cooperate actively in future.
