On March, 26 in the Diplomatic Academy named after H. Udovenko under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine the Chief Consultants of the Departments of International Connections and Legal Analysis of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in ARC participated in the discussion on theme: “After the Lawlessness Crimean Occupation and its Consequences”.
The participants of the discussion were the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodner, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland Bartosz Ksiotkowski, the Head of the Bureau of Research and Analysis of the Polish Institute of International Affairs Bartosz Wisniewski, the expert of the Center for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding Ernest Vitsishkevich, three professors of international law Mykola Hnatovsky (Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University), Dino Krycyotis (Nottingham University) and Vladislav Chaplinsky (Institute of Legal Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences), the officials of the Diplomatic Academy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the defenders of Human Rights and representatives of civil organizations.

During the event it was discussed the policy of Ukraine and Poland on Crimean peninsula annexation and future foreign partnership policy of both countries. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Republic of Poland stressed on non-recognition of the legitimacy of the presidential elections of Russia Federation by Poland and International Community. In the cause of discussion the usage of mass destruction weapon, tortures, hybrid means used by Russia in Crimea, Russia’s intrusion into marine and airspace, the appropriateness of implementation of new sanctions and strengthening the current economic, political, and personal ones were highlighted. In concluding the discussion it was presented the scientific research «The Case of Crimea’s Annexation Under International Law» as a new publication the Center for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding by Poland Academy of Science.
