On March, 5 2018 the officials of the Mission took part in a panel discussion entitled “Election of the president of Russia Federation and foreign policy agenda for Ukraine” held in Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The participants of the event were the Chairman of Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Anna Hopko, Co-director of foreign policy and international security programs of Razumkov Center Mychailo Pashkov, Director of Diplomatic Academy, Sergiy Korsunsky and the officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, of the National Institute of Strategic Studies, representatives of Human Rights groups and civil society organizations.

During the meeting the processes characterizing the political regime in Russian Federation and possible future changes of its foreign policy direction was the subject for discussion. It was stressed the efforts of the occupier authorities to falsify the “voter turnout” and the prospects of increasing the repressions against the inhabitants of the occupied territories as means of collective punishment and harassment, in particular with the involvement punishment bodies of Russian Federation to this activity which have an experience of tortures, kidnappings and murders in the situations of civil conflicts happened in the regions of Russia Federation. The need to boycott the election of the President of Russian Federation and not to cooperate in the development of illegal occupier authorities and its officials was marked at.
The Mission considers the false “election” in Crimea is illegal with no sign of democracy and free will expression and it becomes as means of promotion and falsehoods used at the election in the territory of Russia Federation. That is why the results of election of the President of Russian Federation in general could be recognized to be hold violating the International Law. It should be questioned its results as those falsified in Crimea with recognition neither the fact of “election” nor its results by Ukraine and other civilized countries of the world.
