On 23 November 2018 the Head of the Department of International Connections Yevhen Samukha was invited by the Embassy of Sovereign Order of Malta to take part in the presentation of jubilee picture book “The Sovereign Order of Malta and Ukraine: 10 years of diplomatic relations, 27 years of service to the needy”, devoted to 10 years of diplomatic relations between the countries.

The book presents the activity of Sovereign Order of Malta in Ukraine, beginning from 1991, describes the establishment and development of diplomatic relationship in 2008 including the high level contacts between Ukraine and Order.

The event was held in the media-center of the Directorate General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions with the participation of Antonio Gazzanti Pugliesedi Cotrone, UNHCR Representative in Ukraine Pablo Mateu, the Head of Malta Assistant Service in Ukraine Pavlo Titka and other representatives of home and foreign diplomatic society.

While Antonio Gazzanti Pugliesedi Cotrone was signing a book specially for the Mission of the President of Ukraine in ARC, Yevhen Samukha commended the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador for the support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine by Malta and proposed to promote the dissemination of information about the activity of Malta Assistant Service in Ukraine among the internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
