On February 21 the main consultant of the Department of reintegration and deoccupation of ARC Tatyana Pokydko took part in the evening to commemorate the outstanding politician, a head of the government of Crimean People’s Republic proclaimed in 1917, organizer of the First Kurultai, Muslim mufti of Crime, Lithuania, Poland and Belorussia – Noman Chelebidgych who was severely executed by Bolsheviks. In her speech she stressed the role of Chelebidgych in the development of Crimean Tatar National Movement as an Indigenous People of Crimea.
The event organized by the State Administration in Genichesk and the Village Council of Shchaslyvetske took place in a cozy and frank atmosphere at the local Culture House. The words, songs in Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian were performed in the stage to honor the Man who was a true patriot, loved his motherland and lost his life for freedom of Crimean Tatar People. Local dance and sports children groups, representatives of the local communities and State Administration participated in this event.
