In the social networks controlled by the occupants there is a false information that the passing of the citizens of Ukraine through the control checkpoints of entry and exit to Crimea would be carried out exclusively with the passports of the citizens of Ukraine for travelling abroad and with the passports in the form of ID-card, after introduction of a compulsory biometric control at the control checkpoints of entry and exit to Crimea on the 01st day of January, 2018, for the citizens from the countries of increased migration risk, including the Russian Federation. Such information is false, it is intentionally directed at the discrediting of state authorities of Ukraine in conditions of the Russian aggression. The passing of the citizens of Ukraine through the control checkpoints of entry and exit with passports of the citizens of Ukraine of a form approved in the year 1994 will be carried out at any time thereafter.
According to the explanations of Azov-Black Sea Regional Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine the requests of border guards to provide the biometric passports of the citizens of Ukraine for travelling abroad, if available, at the control checkpoints of entry and exit, aim only at acceleration of the control procedure from several minutes to several seconds; in this case no stamps are put in the passports. The absence of a biometric passport, upon availability of new equipment for passport reading at the control checkpoints of entry and exit, causes a necessity of filling-in of information of a passport of a form approved in the year 1994, into the relevant systems manually. But it is not and can not be a barrier for the passage through the control checkpoints of entry and exit. The Mission asks the citizens to report about all cases of malversation at the control checkpoints of entry and exit by the officials to the competent law-enforcement authorities and to apply directly to the Mission Office.
