In April, 18 the officials of the Departments of the International Connections and Legal Analysis of the Mission visited the presentation of a book by Crimean historian Serhiy Gromenko “Forgotten victory. Crimean operation of Peter Bolbochan in 1918”.
The participants of the event were Volodymyr Vyatrovych – Head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Sergiy Gromenko – historian, publicist, specialist on Crimean issues, Kyrylo Hlushko – historian, sociologist, teacher blogger, media and the officials of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. The pointed publication is devoted to the attempt of the Ukrainian People’s Republic in April 1918 to regain the control over the Crimean peninsula, free it from the Bolshevics, previously usurped the power and destroyed the democratic institutions there. The book describes the interpretation of the “Crimean problem” on the world scene in March 1917 – April 1918, on the forces and plans of the parties, on the hostilities on the peninsula
