The territorial centers of the State Fund for the Promotion of Youth Housing Construction (State Youth Housing) began to receive documents for participation in the program “Affordable Housing” on November 28th.
In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Article 4 of the Law “On Preventing the Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on the Development of Construction Industry and Housing Construction” on the Implementation of State Housing Programs” approved on March 16th by Verkhovna Rada, the mechanism of preferential purchase of housing was started up.
This document provides additional opportunities for families of the participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and internally displaced persons to solve the housing problem by participating in an affordable housing program, which will enable them to buy accommodation by scheme “50 to 50” or to receive a preferential loan of 7 percent per annum to purchase housing. Under the terms of this program, the amount of state support is 50% for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
