The Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv region together with the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in accordance with the Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine detained 3 persons who had organized a channel for illegal migration by making fake documents – passports of the citizen of Ukraine and passports of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad and their further selling to the citizens of Ukraine and citizens of foreign countries. The criminal group includes the citizens of Asian countries, Russia and Ukraine.

It has been reported that these malicious persons drew up a passport of the citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, passport of the citizen of Ukraine for 6 thousand US dollars, and also organized an unobstructed passage of the State Border of Ukraine by providing the corresponding instructions and directions. The place of origin of blanks of passports of the citizen of Ukraine was a territory of the annexed Crimea.

In course of the authorized searches at the places of residence of malicious persons, 15 fake passports and cash in the amount of 108 thousand Hryvnas (UAH) were withdrawn. Now, an issue connected to the notice of suspicion and choosing a pre-trial restriction in the form of detention is solving.
