In July 13, 2018 the Chief Consultant of the Department of the International Connections of the Mission Tkachenko Taisia took part in the regular meeting of the working group on the higher, special and professional educational establishments of Kherson region as the secondary schools for graduates from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol City in 2018. The submission of entrance applications to the Higher Educational Establishments has begun on the 12th of July. The budget enrollment deadline is July 20, and 27th of July is the beginning of the enrollment to the universities under the contract.
The applicants for entry, residents from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in Crimea, who are late, for certain reasons, to submit the applications to the Higher Educational Establishments before July 20, the budget quota for education will be determined for every applicant individually by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The Missions activities in providing the high school campaign promotion for the residents of the occupied territory of Ukraine in Crimea to enter the Higher Educational Establishments by simplified procedure was noted. Much has already been done by close collaboration of the Mission with the Educational Centers “Crimea Ukraine” established within the Universities as well as with the Main Directorate of the State Migration Service of Kherson region, of the Azov –Black Sea Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, of the Main Directorate of the National Police in ARC and Sevastopol City, the Main Directorate of SSU in ARC.
Audio-visual, video and printed information on entrance campaign for the applicants for entry from Crimea as well as its broadcasting on TV, radio, web sites and social networks was provided by the support of the Mission. Moreover the Mission has sent several requests about the campaign “Crimea-Ukraine” to be broadcasted on the leading national channels. The next meeting of the working group is supposed to be held in last decade of June.
