In May, 9 2018 the officials of the Mission, self governmental bodies and public communities held a range of events not far from the administrative line with occupied Crimea to commemorate the heroes and victims of the II World War related to the peninsula. The participant of the II World War, who is an internally displaced person from the occupied Crimea and now is residing in the Askania -Nova settlement of Chaplynka district was presented with an useful household gadget from the officials of the Mission.
The flowers were laid to the monument of the Crimean Defenders – sailors of 127th battery in the Genichesk Hill of the village of Shchaslyvtseve, Genichesk district. In the village of Novovolodymyrivka of Chaplynka district the flowers were laid at the mass grave of soldiers, lost their lives defending and liberating Crimea. As well as the flowers were laid at the Memorial of the soldiers, who lost their lives defending their Motherland from Russian aggression since 2014.
