In June 8, 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin spoke at the conference “The Exchange of Information between the Humanitarian Organizations, Operating in Ukraine” organized by the Embassy of Sovereign Military Order of Malta together with the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko.
In his opening speech Borys Babin pointed out the role of the Monitoring Missions of OSCE and UN, of Council of Europe and of European Union in security, law protection, humanitarian and defense dimensions of Ukraine against the continued Russia’s aggression, particularly from the occupied Crimea. It was acknowledged a number of issues regarding the current activity of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Simferopol. The Permanent Representative expressed the hope to receive technical and humanitarian assistance for the resolving of the humanitarian needs of the check points “Kalanchak” and “Chongar” and in order to the Administrative Service Centers to be established in the settlements of Kherson Region, apploximated to the Crimea.
