On the 14^th day of December, 2017, the Permanent Representative held a working meeting in Kyiv with the leaders of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine, Mr. Alan Schliemann and Mr. Stefan Beytrison. The parties discussed further activation of the International Committee of the Red Cross to help the citizens residing in the temporarily occupied territory or internally displaced persons to cross the checkpoints to realize their own rights and humanitarian needs.

The parties discussed possible urgent measures on solving humanitarian needs at the checkpoints in the current situation of unresolved issue of budget financing for their arrangement. Also, the Permanent Representative held meetings for the purpose of coordination of co-operation of assistance to the Crimean people, with the Minister of Health Care of Ukraine and the Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Permanent Representative met with the leaders of the diplomatic missions of Great Britain, Canada, Norway and Sweden, and representative of the OSCE Project coordinator in Ukraine.
