Visits of foreign states to the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory, as well as expressing support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is the way to draw the attention of our international partners to the issues and problems caused by the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea actively cooperates in the framework of the implementation of international measures with international partners.
Starting from September 2020, the Mission organized visits for delegations led by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary/Deputy Ambassadors of Canada, Great Britain, Lithuania, Latvia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway to the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, in particular at the “Kalanchak” and “Chaplynka” checkpoints.
This is especially important now on the eve of the Crimean Platform summit, which will take place on August 23 this year.
Each such visit allows international partners to get acquainted with the situation on the administrative border, to communicate with IDPs from Crimea and to express support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
