On the 29th day of August, 2017 in Kherson, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Borys Babin together with First Deputy Izet Hdanov visited the Passport Service of the State Enterprise “Document”
A citizen of Ukraine, who came to Kherson from the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean peninsula and addressed to the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, could not apply for a passport document for traveling abroad.
During the visit to the State Enterprise “Document” it became clear that the inhabitant of Crimea was orally refused to issue a passport by the reason that his birth certificate issued in Uzbekistan to a person deported on the national grounds. There were also found other similar cases of ungrounded failures in the acceptance of documents.
In their turn, Borys Babin and Izet Hdanov stressed that the issue of providing appropriate administrative services in the city of Kherson and Kherson region requires an immediate settlement, and should be under the special control of all competent state authorities.
In the near future, a meeting will be held on the activities of the Department of State Migration Service in Kherson region with the participation of heads of law enforcement institutions.
