The First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in AR of Crimea stressed that illegal searches and arbitrary arrests of the citizens who came to support their compatriots reflected today’s realities in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

“Mass terror of the Russian criminals against the Crimean Tatar People, the indigenous people of Crimea has happened today. 55 children expected their parents to come back home. The law enforcement bodies in the mainland Ukraine opened the criminal proceedings for searches and then they are going to open the criminal proceedings for the detention of our citizens”, said Izet Hdanov to ATR TV channel, commenting the mass searches and arrest of the Crimean Tatars in Crimea.

According to him, the occupiers’ things go wrong, that is why they undertake the arbitrary mass operations against the Crimean Tatar People.

“The last chance of the occupier is to change the authority in Ukraine through the elections. During the five years, the acting President of Ukraine severely hit the aggressor in the international level with the long- lasting consequences. And in Crimea, resistance by the Crimean Tatar People and ethnic Ukrainians continues to strengthen and even though somebody considers that there is no visible signs, everyone despises the occupier there”, emphasized the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative.

Regarding the further activity of Mission, Izet Hdanov also emphasized that the political and diplomatic pressure on the aggressor will be continued. “And as the President stated the Crimean theme would be enhanced to liberate our Motherland. I would like to express my gratitude for the unwavering position of our citizens in Crimea. We will definitely win”, added he.
