In July 25, 2018 The European Court of Human Rights applied 39 of the Rules of Court in the case of Oleg Sentsov versus the state-aggressor (Sentsov v. Russia, 48881/14) calling on Russia to provide him with appropriate treatment in an institutionalised medical setting. The Court also invited Mr Sentsov to end his hunger strike and to accept any life-saving treatment offered.

Long and deliberate violations of the Ukrainian political detainees’ rights by Russia are considered to be the horrible crimes with no limitation period against the mankind and inevitably all the officials involved will be punished.
