In June, 5 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the ARC with the participation of the officials of the Mission held a mitting attended by the heads of the health-care institutions of Kherson region. Particularly, the participants of the meeting were the representatives of Kalanchak, Skadovsk and Chaplynka central district hospitals, Chaplynka district hospital of primary sanitary and medical aid, Kherson Regional anti-tuberculosis and cardio centers, Khreson regional psychiatric and clinical hospitals, Kherson regional hospital named after Horbachevsky and Kherson regional hospital “Hospis”.

The meeting resulted by the agreed position on unconditional medical treatment to the inhabitants of the temporarily occupied Crimea in the health care institutions of Kherson region. The representatives of the health care institutions confirmed the feasibility to treat the Crimean residents, but paid attention to additional funding to be decided in the case of  massive appeals.

The permanent Representative informed the members  on the interactive activity with the Ministry of Health in Ukraine where it is supposed to check the distribution of the  available State budget subsidies for treatment of the Crimean residents by taking into consideration the number of persons temporarily replacing from Crimea, especially, to Kherson region. The Mission and the health care institutions have the common position regarding the necessity of the Crimean residents to be informed and of the need for these residents to conclude the contracts with the centers of primary sanitary and medical aid in mainland Ukraine under the medical reform. It was confirmed the readiness to conclude such contracts by the district centers of the primary sanitary and medical aid, in Kalanchak and Chaplynka as well.
